Anti-Ragging Committee
The Anti-Ragging Committee is constituted as per the guidelines of the
University Grants Commission and the National Commission for Homoeopathy
to maintain a safe, disciplined, and ragging-free academic environment.
The institution follows a strict zero-tolerance policy towards ragging.
Ragging in any form—physical, verbal, psychological, or online—is strictly
prohibited within the college campus, hospital, hostels, and during any
academic or extracurricular activities. Any violation will invite strict
disciplinary and legal action as per government norms.
Objectives
- To prevent and eliminate ragging in all forms
- To promote a culture of mutual respect, dignity, and discipline
- To create awareness about the harmful effects of ragging
- To ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students
- To comply with UGC and statutory anti-ragging regulations

Functions of the Committee
- Conduct regular meetings and monitor anti-ragging measures
- Organize awareness programs, orientation sessions, and counselling
- Maintain strict surveillance in sensitive areas such as hostels and common spaces
- Provide a platform for students to report grievances without fear
- Take prompt action on complaints and recommend disciplinary measures
- Submit reports and compliance details to statutory authorities as required

- Display of anti-ragging notices across the campus
- Submission of online undertakings by students and parents
- Formation of Anti-Ragging Squad for active monitoring
- Installation of complaint boxes and availability of helpline support
- Orientation of freshers and seniors on anti-ragging policies
- Strict action against proven ragging cases as per law

Anti-Ragging Squad
The Anti-Ragging Squad is constituted as per the guidelines of the University
Grants Commission and the National Commission for Homoeopathy to ensure continuous
vigilance and immediate action against ragging within the campus.
The squad works under the supervision of the Anti-Ragging Committee and is
responsible for maintaining strict discipline and a ragging-free environment
in all areas of the institution.

- To ensure safety and security of students
- To create a friendly and respectful campus atmosphere
- To respond quickly to any ragging-related incident
Functions of the Squad
- Conduct surprise inspections in classrooms, hostels, canteen, and common areas
- Maintain continuous vigilance in sensitive locations
- Interact with students to identify and prevent ragging incidents
- Respond immediately to any complaints or suspicious activities
- Report incidents directly to the Anti-Ragging Committee for further action
- Assist in awareness activities and student orientation programs
